Ingredients
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 Tbsp corn starch
- 3 pt blueberries
- 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 3/4 cup old fashioned or quick cooking oats
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/3 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 4 Tbsp cold butter , cut small
- Optional: serve with vanilla ice cream

Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Have ready a shallow 2 qt baking dish.
Mix sugar and corn starch in a large bowl. Add blueberries and lemon juice; toss to coat. Spread in baking dish.
Wipe bowl clean ; add oats, brown sugar , flour and cinnamon. stir to mix well, then work butter in with fingers until coarse crumbs form. sprinke over blueberries.
bake at 35 to 40 minutes or until top is browned and berries bubble. cool on wire rack 30 to 60 minutes . Serve warm with ice cream.
