Ingredients
- 1 Package semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 C all purpose flour
- 1 T Pumpkin pie spice
- 1 t baking soda
- 3/4 t salt
- 1 C (2 sticks) butter, at room temperature
- 1 1/4 C Sugar
- 1 Large Eggs
- 2 t Vanilla Extract
- 1 C Canned Pumpkin Puree

Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13 baking pan.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking soda and salt
3. Cream butter and sugar on medium-high speed until smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla until combined.
4. Add pumpkin puree and mix well. The mixture would look somewhat curdled
5. Reduce speed to low and mix in dry ingredients until combined.
6. Fold in chocolate chips
7. Spread batter evenly in pan.
8. Bake 35-40 minutes or until edges pull away from sides of pan and toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs
