Ingredients
- CAKE:
- 2 CUPS FLOUR
- 1 1/2 CUPS SUGAR
- 2 EGGS
- 1 TSP VANILLA
- 2 TSP BAKING SODA
- 20 OZ CAN CRUSHED PINEAPPLE PACKED IN IT'S OWN JUICE(FRUIT AND JUICE)
- 1 GENEROUS CUP CHOPPED PECANS OR WALNUTS
- FROSTING:(INGRIEDIANTS SHOULD BE WARMED AT ROOM TEMP;MAKE WHILE CAKE IS BAKING)
- 8 OZ CREAM CHEESE, SOFT
- 1 STICK BUTTER, SOFT
- 1 1/2 CUPS POWDERED SUGAR
- 1/2 CUP CHOPPED PECANS OR WALNUTS ( OR OMIT ENTIRELY)

Preparation
Step 1
PREHEAT OVEN TO 350. GREASE & FLOUR 9 X 13 INCH PAN . MIX TOGETHER IN A LARGE BOWL, CAKE INGREDIENTS. POUR INTO PREPARED PAN AND BAKE FOR ABOUT 30-35 MINUTES
MIX CREAM CHEESE AND BUTTER UNTIL SMOOTH, ADD SUGAR, THEN NUTS. SPREAD ON HOT CAKE RIGHT OUT OF THE OVEN. REFRIGERATE IMMEDIATELY!!!
