Ingredients

  • 1 bag fresh cranberries
  • 1 3/4 cups sugar
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbs lemon juice
  • 1-2 cups water (just enough to cover berries)

Preparation

Step 1

Place all ingredients in heavy saucepan and cook for 15 minutes. Mash broken cranberries to make pulpy and simmer for 10 more minutes.

FYI- Cranberries will make popping noises when they burst open!
