STRAWBERRY PRETZEL SALAD

Ingredients

  • 3/4 Cup Margarine - Melted
  • 3 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
  • 2-1/4 Cup Crushed Pretzels
  • 1 lg. pkg. strawberry jello
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 pkg. frozen sliced strawberries in sugar
  • 1 – 8 oz. pkg. Cream Cheese
  • 3/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1 – 8 oz. pkg. Cool Whip

Preparation

Step 1

Combine Brown Sugar, pretzels and margarine. Pat evenly into 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool. Dissolve Jello in boiling water. Add frozen strawberries. Chill Jello and strawberries until slightly thickened. Sets up in a short time. Blend Cream cheese and sugar. Fold into cool whip and spread over cooled pretzel crust. Top with jello mixture. Refrigerate for one hour before serving.
