Peggy's Cheesy Cornbread

Ingredients
- 1 cup self-rising cornmeal
- 8 oz sour cream
- 3/4 cup oil
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 sm. can creamed corn (1/3 cup)
- 1 cup grated cheese

Preparation
Step 1
Mix all ingredient except cheese. Pour 1/2 the mixture into a pan (I use a large iron skillet that I have preheated while the oven preheats), top with cheese, pour the other 1/2 of mixture over top of cheese.
Bake @ 400 degrees until brown (approx. 35 minutes).
