Rigatoni and Sausage

Ingredients

  • 3 cups rigatoni uncooked
  • 1 lb. sweet sausage
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1 3/4 cup Ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups spaghetti sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3 Tbsp. parmesan cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Cook pasta, cook sausage until brown

remove sausage and slice into thin pieces and return to pan and add onion and garlic

Stir in hot pasta and ricotta

Pour 1 cup sauce in 3 qt. casserole

Spread 1/3 mixture over sauce

Cover with 1 cup sauce and sprinkle with 3/4 cup mozzarella and 1 Tbsp. parmesan repeat mixture, sauce and cheese ending with remaining parmesan

Cover and Bake 400 degrees for 20-30 mins.
