Classic Pumpkin Pie

Makes one 9 in. pie. Can serve with bourbon whipped cream (separate recipe) or other whipped cream topping.

Ingredients
- 9 in pre baked pie shell
- 15 oz can Libby's 100% pure pumpkin
- 1 1/2 c half & half
- 3/4 c granulated white sugar
- 1/4 c maple syrup
- 2 lg eggs, lightly beaten
- 3 T pumpkin pie spice (recipe follows)
- 1/4 t fine grain sea salt
- Pumpkin pie spice
- 2 1/2 t cinnamon
- 1 t ground ginger
- 1 t ground nutmeg
- 1/2 t ground cloves

Step 1
Mix pumpkin pie spice ingredients together. Preheat oven to 350.
Combine pumpkin, half & half, sugar, syrup, eggs, pumpkin pie spice & salt in med bowl; Mix well. Pour into pie shell.
Bake for 20 min & check on pie. Rotate if necessary & bake 20-30 more min until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack.
