Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

Ingredients

  • 1/2 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder, or to taste
  • 1/2 - 1 teaspoon paprika, or to taste
  • 1 turkey breast (4-6 lbs)
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes, or to taste

Step 1

1. Blend garlic powder and paprika. Rub into turkey skin. Place turkey in slow cooker. Sprinkle on parsley. Cover; cook on low 6 to 8 hours or on high 2 1/2 to 3 hours or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees when meat thermometer is inserted into thickest part of breast, not touching bone.
2. Transfer turkey to cutting board; cover with foil and let stand 10-15 minutes before carving. (Internal temperature will rise 5 - 10 degrees during stand time.)
