Honey Mustard Mint Burgers with Grilled Pineapple

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped mint leaves
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 20 oz ground turkey
  • 5 pineapple slices
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 5 hamburger buns
  • 1 cup arugula or torn lettuce

Preparation

Step 1

Prepare grill for grilling with medium heat.
Whisk together honey, mustard, mint, salt and pepper. Place half of the glaze into another bowl and set aside to use on cooked burgers.
Shape the turkey into 5 burgers about 1/2 inch thick. Brush both sides with the honey mustard glaze and place onto grill. Cook until golden brown on the first side, 5-6 min. Turn over, brush top with additional glaze and continue grilling until done.
Brush the pineapple slices with oil and grill 1-2 min per side until golden brown.
Toast the buns on the grill. Place a burger on each bun, top with a pineapple slice, arugula leaves and the top half of the bun.
