Cinnamon Biscuit Peach Cobbler

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 C flour
- 1 TBS plus 1/3 C packed brown sugar divided
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/3 tsp baking soda
- 6 TBS cold butter
- 1/2 C milk
- 2 TBS butter melted
- 3/4 C chopped walnuts
- 3/4 tsp cinnamon
- Filling
- 1 C packed brown sugar
- 2 TBS cornstarch
- 3/4 tsp graed lemon peel
- 1 C water
- 9 C sliced peeled peaches

Preparation
Step 1
Combine flour 1 TBS brown sugar baking powder salt and baking soda. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in milk just until blended. Transfer to floured surface knead 10-12 times. Pat into a 12 inch square. Brush with melfted butter. Combine walnuts cinnamon and remaining drown sugar sprinkle over dought to within 1/2 inch of edge. Roll up jelly roll style. Sead dought set aside. In large saucepan combine brown sugar cornstarch and lemon peel stir in water until blended. Add peacheds. Bring to a boil Cook and stir for 2 mins or until thickened and bubbly. Transfer to a greased 13x9 baking dish. Cut biscuit dought into twelve 1 minch slices arrange biscuits over filling. Bake uncovered at 400 for 20-25 mins or until golden brown.
