Ingredients

  • 1 (18 1/2 ounce) package yellow cake mix
  • 1 (3 ounce) packages lemon Jell-O gelatin ( 4 serving size package)
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • Icing
  • 2 cups sifted powdered sugar
  • 2 lemons, juice and zest

Step 1


Mix cake ingredients with an electric mixer for 4 minutes.

Bake in 9x13 inch baking dish at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.

Poke holes all over the surface of the cake.

Mix together the powdered sugar and juice and zest of 2 lemons. Pour over the surface of the cake immediately, while it is still warm.
