Ingredients
- st layer:
- 2 cups water
- 3 3 oz packages, lime jello
- 14-16 halved maraschino cherries
- 2 medium bananas sliced
- 2 cups pear juice from a large can of pears (add water to make 2 cups, if needed)
- nd layer:
- 3 3oz. packages cream cheese
- 1/2 cup mayonise
- 2 tablespoons gelatin mixture
- 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans or walnuts
- 1/3 cup chopped maraschino cherries
- rd layer:
- 1 cup diced canned pears
- remaining jello mixture

Preparation
Step 1
1st layer:
Heat water in a 2 quart sauce pan to boil, add jello and juice. Stir until dissloved, pour 1/2 cup of mixture into a jello mold pan, chill in frig til slightly set, then arrange cherries and bananas on jello, slowly pour 1 1/2 cups of cooled jello mixture over this, without distrubing arrangement. Refrigerate til firm. Place remaining mixture aside.
2nd layer:
Beat cream cheese at medium until light and fluffy, add mayonaise and jello mixture, stir in cherries and nuts, spread in even layer over firm fruit in jello mold pan.
3rd layer:
Dice canned pears and to remaining jello, pour over 2nd layer, refrigerate overnight, or until firm.
When ready to serve, unmold jello from pan: place mold in hot water for about 10 seconds and flip mold over onto serving platter.
