LEMON BARS

Ingredients

• 1 egg
• 1/3 cup butter
• 1 pkg. lemon cake mix
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup sugar
• ½ tsp. baking powder
• ¼ tsp. salt
• 2 tsp.lemon juice. and lemon peel

Preparation

Step 1

Mix 1 egg, butter and cake mix until crumbly, reserve 1 cup
Put into lightly ungreased pan 13 X 9 inch. and bake for 15 minutes at 350deg.
Beat 2 eggs, sugar, baking powder, salt, lemon peel and lemon juice until light and foaming. Pour over hot crust sprinkle with reserved crumb and bake 15 minutes.
