Ingredients
- 3/4 C sifted all purpose flour
- 1/3 C butter
- 2 whole eggs
- 1 C brown sugar
- 3/4 C shredded coconut
- 1/2 C chopped nuts
- 1/8 th tsp vanilla
- Frosting
- 1 tsp. grated lemon rind
- 1 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- 2/3 C powdered sugar

Preparation
Step 1
Grease the bottom of a 11X7 pan or line with parchment to prevent the cookies from sticking to the pan.
Mix flour and butter together by hand to consistency of fine crumbs. Sprinkle evenly on pan. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
Beat eggs with brown sugar, coconut, chopped nuts and vanilla. Spread over first mixture. Return to oven and bake 20 minutes longer.
FROSTING:
Combine all ingredients and ribbon over the cookies while still warm. Cut into small squares.
Makes about 2 dozen.
