Ingredients

  • 1 pkg (15oz) Pillsbury All-Ready pie crust
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 can (16oz) Libby's solid pack pumpkin
  • 3/4 C granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 can (12 fl oz) UNDILUTED Carnation evaporated milk

Step 1

Prepare pie crust according to package directions for FILLED ONE-CRUST PIE using 9 inch pie pan. Twist edge as directed**. Mix filling ingredients in order. Pour into crust. Pour into crust. Bake in preheated 425*F oven for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350*F. Bake additional 40-50 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean. (If necessary, cover the edge of the crust with aluminum foil to prevent excessive browning). Cool; garnish if desired.

**Trim dough even with outside of pan, brush edge of crust with egg white. Cut six 1/4" wide strips from remaining dough. Twist two strips together and place along edge of crust, pressing lightly to secure.

NOTE: Bake pie on preheated HEAVY-DUTY cookie sheet only when using metal or foil pie pan.
