Ingredients
- 1 sheet Dufour's frozen puff pastry,
- thawed
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoons anise seeds
- Alvarez olive oil

Preparation
Step 1
Prepare pastry according to package directions. Roll into 8-by-14-inch rectangle. Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons sugar and anise seeds. Fold dough over so sugar and anise seeds are sandwiched in the middle. Roll dough into an 8-by- 12-inch rectangle. Prick with a fork. Refrigerate until cold. Remove pastry from refrigerator. Cut dough into about 8 squares. Sprinkle with remaining Sugar and drizzle olive oil on top. Place squares on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake in a preheated 375°F oven for 15 Minutes, or until crisp and golden. Cool. Makes about 8 tortas.
