  • 4 kit kat candy bars
  • 3 boxes cracker jack
  • 15 individually wrapped caramels
  • 1 1/4 tsp butter
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 3 tsp shortening divided

Preparation

Step 1

Unwrap candy bars and place faced down on waxed or parchment paper.

set aside. pour caramel corn in a bowl.

In one microwave safe bowl, combine caramels with butter. In another bowl combine white chocolate with 1 1/2 tsp shortening. In third bowl, combine chocolate chips with remaining shortening.

Heat one bowl at a time on HIGH heat for about 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until contents are completely melted. Drizzle half of caramel mixture over each candy bar. Divide and mound caramel corn on top of each bar. Drizzle the melted white chocolate, remaining caramel and chocolate over the top of the bars. let set in refrigerator for 5 minutes.
