Ingredients

  • 4 C bowtie pasta
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 - 2 T olive oil
  • 1 T lemon juice
  • 1 tsp grated lemon peel
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp coarse-ground black pepper
  • 1/2 C loosely packed, thinly sliced, fresh basil leaves (or 1 1/2 T dried)
  • 1/4 - 1/2 C Parmesian cheese

Step 1

- Cook pasta according to directions
- While pasta is cooking, saute garlic in oil for 1 min.; stir in lemon juice, peel, salt, pepper
- Add drained pasta to skillet; add basil; toss to coat and stir until wilted - 1 -2 min.
- Sprinkle with Parmesian
