Key Lime Cake

Girls, Bowden added this when he was trying to help me figure out how to do this thing. We had it at a dinner and I think he wants me to make it for him. Ha. Just sending in case you like it too. :)
Ingredients
- Key Lime Cake
- 1 Box lemon cake mix
- 1 (3.4 ounce) box lemon instant pudding mix
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup key lime juice (bought in bottle at supermarket)
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- KEY LIME TOPPING
- 2 cups confectioners’ sugar
- 1/4 cup Key Lime juice
- Whipped cream or whipped topping
- Maraschino cherries

Preparation
Step 1
Cake
Put all ingredients in bowl and mix thoroughly. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 x 2 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until cake tests done. Cover with Key Lime Topping (recipe below).

Cut cake into squares while hot or punch holes all over surface of cake. Beat together sugar and lime juice. Pour mixture over cake. Allow to cool. Serve squares of cake with whipped topping and a cherry, if desired.
