Heavenly Peach Kuchen

Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt
- 2 c flour
- 2 T sugar
- 1/4 t baking powder
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/2 c butter
- 2 cans sliced peaches, drained
- 1 c brown sugar
- 2 t cinnamon
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 c heavy cream or half and half
Sausage Pasta

Aunt Beth's Apple Dapple Cake

Preheat oven to 325. Beat together sugar and oil, then add eggs one at a time
- Glaze:
- 2 c sugar
- 1 1/2 veg. oil
- 3 eggs
- 3 c flour
- 1 T baking soda
- 1 t salt
- 3 c finely diced apples
- 2 c chopped pecans (optional)
- 2 t vanilla
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/4 lb butter
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Vidalia Onion Casserole

- 5 large onions
- 2 stick butter
- parmesan cheese
- Town House crackers, crushed
Bucatini with Pecorino and Coarse Pepper

Cook the bucatini in a large pot of boiling, salted water until al dente
- 1 pound bucatini, broken in half
- 6 T extra-virgin olive all
- 1 T very coarsely ground black pepper
- 1 T very coarsely ground white pepper
- 1 c coarsely chopped cherry tomatoes
- 1 3/4 c freshly grated pecorino romano cheese (6 ounces)

Aunt Maureen's Carrot Cake

Beat together sugar, oil, and eggs
- 3 c grated carrots
- 2 c sugar
- 1 1/2 c corn oil
- 4 eggs
- 2 c flour
- 2 t baking soda
- 2 t baking powder
- 2 t cinnamon
- 1 t salt
- 1 c chopped nuts
Pesto-Tomato Clams

Bring wine, garlic and red pepper to boil in extra large pot
- 1 c dry white wine
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 t crushed red pepper
- 8 lbs. little neck clams, scrubbed
- 3 c chopped plum tomatoes
- 1 7-8 oz container basil pesto

- 2 sticks butter, softened

- 2/3 c ground blackened almonds

Orecchiette with Cauliflower, Onion and Sausage

Cook sausage and onion in olive oil, until sausage is browned and onions are tender
- 12 oz. uncooked Italian sausage, out of casings
- 1 c onion, chopped
- lots of garlic
- 1 T extra virgin olive oil
- 2 c chicken stock
- 1 medium head cauliflower, broken into florets
- 1/4 t crushed red pepper
- 1 lb pasta
- 1/2 cup plain fine dry breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup graded pecorino romano cheese
- 1/2 cup snipped Italian flat leaf parsley
Nantucket Cranberry Pie

Preheat oven to 350. Put cranberries, walnuts and 1/2 c sugar in a buttered 10" pie plate or springform pan
- 2 c chopped cranberries
- 1/2 c chopped walnuts
- 1/2 c sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 sticks butter, melted and cooled
- 1 c sugar
- 1 c flour
- 1/4 t salt
- 1/4 t almond extract
