In a medium mixing bowl stir together flour, ginger, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, and salt; set aside
- 4-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 4 teaspoons ground ginger
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1-1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1-1/2 cups shortening
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 3/4 cup coarse sugar or granulated sugar
Quick Chicken Fingers

Coat a microwave-safe 9" x 13" baking dish with nonstick cooking spray
- 1/3 cup Italian-seasoned bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/8 teaspoon paprika

- 1 firm ripe banana, cut into 1/4-inch slices

Double Peanut Butter Cookies

- 1-1 ⁄2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 ⁄2 c. sugar
- 1 ⁄2 t. baking soda

- 1 ⁄2 c. shortening
- 3 ⁄4 c. creamy peanut butter, divided
- 1 ⁄4 c. light corn syrup
- 1 T. milk
