1 Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 9-inch glass pie plate with cooking spray
- 1 box Betty yellow cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 3 cups (1 lb) quartered fresh strawberries
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 box refrigerated pie crusts, softened as directed on box
Fruit Cocktail Cake

- CAKE
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 pinches salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups white sugar
- 1 (15 ounce) can fruit cocktail with juices
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
- TOPPING
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk
- 2 cups flaked coconut

Cream puffs: 1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees

- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1 cup flour

- 1/4 cup crushed almonds

- 2 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp almond flavoring
- 10 almond slivers (for garnish)
Red, White & Blue Cookies

In a very large bowl, combine butter, shortening and sugars; beat until light and fluffy
- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 t. vanilla extract
- 1 t. baking soda
- 1 t. cream of tartar
- 1/4 t. salt
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. white chocolate chips
- 2/3 c. sweetened dried cranberries
- 1/3 c. sweetened dried blueberries
Autumn Chicken Salad

In a large bowl, stir together all ingredients except lettuce leaves
- 3 cups chopped cooked rotisserie chicken
- 1 cup chopped seedless red grapes
- 3 celery stalks, chopped
- 1 medium-sized Red Delicious apple, chopped
- 1/2 cup pecan halves, toasted
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup honey mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
