Frosting for Chocolate Angel Food Cake

In a mixing bowl, combine ingredients above; cover and chill for 1 hour
- 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup baking cocoa
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
Parmesan Corn Chowder

Add water to potatoes, carrots, celery, onion, salt and pepper
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 cups diced potatoes
- 1/2 cup sliced carrots
- 1/2 cup sliced celery
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup (4 Oz) grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups (1-pound can) cream-style corn
Ruby Red Raspberry Salad

Dissolve raspberry gelatin in 1 cup boiling water
- 1 pkg 3 oz. raspberry gelatin
- 2 cups boiling water, divided
- 1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen raspberries in syrup
- 1 1/2 cups sour cream
- 1 pkg 3 oz of cherry gelatin
- 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple,drained
- 1 can (16 oz) whole-berry cranberry sauce
- lettuce leaves
- Mayonnaise and mint leaves, optional
Macaroni and Cheese

1. Cook macaroni in boiling salt water till tender, then drain
- 1 1/2 cup elbow macaroni
- 3 TBS all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 3 TBS butter
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 1/2 cup shredded cheese

- 2 cups cooked macaroni
- 2 TBS butter
- 1 diced onion
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 TBS green pepper

Chicken and Dumplings

- 1 (3 1/2 to 4 lb. chicken) whole chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 cups sliced carrots
- 2 cups chopped yellow onion
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 2 tsp dried parsley
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 3/4 tsp kosher salt
- 3 thyme springs
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 quarts chicken broth
- DUMPLINGS
- 2 cups flour
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 1/4 vegetable oil
Barbecue Meatballs

1. Combine all ingredients for meatballs and form into 1/2 to 1 inch balls
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2/3 cup oats
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 1/2 TBS minced onion

- 1/2 cup catsup
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 TBS minced onion

Easy Chicken Tetrazzini

1. Melt butter in saucepan over low heat
- 2 TBS butter
- 2 TBS flour
- 1 3/4 cup milk
- 2 cups (8 oz.) shredded mozzarella cheese
- 3/4 cup (3 oz.) parmesan cheese
- 7 oz. spaghetti, broken, cooked, and drained
- 1 1/2 cup chopped cooked chicken
- 1 (4 oz) can mushrooms, drained
- 2 TBS chopped pimento
Baked Rice Pilaf

Combine all ingredients in an ungreased 8-inch square baking dish
- 1 3/4 cups water
- 1 cup shredded carrot
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 3/4 cup uncooked long grain rice
- 3 tbs minced fresh parsley
- 2 tbs. finely chopped onion
- 2 tbs butter, melted
- 1 tbs. chicken bouillon granules

- 24 oz. container frozen strawberries, sliced with sugar added, thawed
