Venison Chili

Cook ground meat with onions and peppers in dutch oven
- 1 lb ground venison or 1 lb ground beef or 1 lb ground turkey
- 2 onions, diced
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 1 tablespoon jalapeno, finely chopped
- 1 (14 ounce) can Mexican-style tomatoes (like Rotel)
- 2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons cumin
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 ⁄2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 ⁄2 teaspoon paprika (smoked if you can find it)
- 1 (14 ounce) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 (14 ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup water
- Toppings

Frozen Jello Pudding Pops

Banana Muffins

- 1 cup oil
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 mashed bananas (add milk to make 2 cups)
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt

- 1/2 cup milled flax seed
- (Can substitute another 1/2 cup wheat flour for the flax seed)
Gin and Maple Macerated Berries

Crock-Pot Stew (beef/venison)

This is a tasty stew made in a slow cooker with either all beef or a beef and venison combination
- 3-4 lb. Beef stew meat and/or venison cut into 1.5 in. cubes
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground pepper
- 2-3 carrots, cut into bite size pieces
- 2 large stalks celery, cut into 1/4 in. pieces
- 2-3 small white onions cut into small pieces
- 2-4 potatoes (with skins) cut into 1 in. cubes
- 1 can (4 oz) sliced mushrooms (drained)
- 1 pkg frozen peas, corn, green beans or lima beans, partially thawed
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed beef broth
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp Kitchen Bouquet (optional)
- 1 can tomato wedges or slices, drained
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup water
