Sausage Gravy

Southern Living, modified ~ I found that ½ tsp pepper makes the gravy rather peppery
- 1 (16 oz) pkg. Grands biscuits
- 1 lb pork sausage
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 1/3 cups milk, plus more if needed
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 - 1/2 tsp pepper
Venison Muriel

Fry bacon in large skillet until crisp; drain
- 4 slices Center Cut bacon (or 3 slices regular bacon), chopped
- 1 lb. ground venison or beef
- 3/4 cup chopped onion
- 1-1/4 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 can petite diced tomatoes
- Cooked rice
Chicken Marsala

Split each chicken breast through the middle to make 2 pieces
- 2 skinless, boneless, chicken breasts
- Salt & pepper
- 1/2 cup flour
- Up to 1/4 cup olive oil
- 8 oz sliced mushrooms
- 2 TB butter
- 1/2 cup sweet Marsala wine
- 1/4 cup chicken stock
- 1/4 cup sherry or dry white wine
- Optional: 2 TB heavy cream or half & half

- ¾ cup mayonnaise
- 1 packet Ranch dressing mix
- 1 garlic clove, coarsely chopped
- ½ cup coarsely chopped cilantro
- ¼ cup pickled jalapeños
- 1 TB pickled jalapeño juice
- ½ cup buttermilk
