Ingredients

  • 4 slices Center Cut bacon (or 3 slices regular bacon), chopped
  • 1 lb. ground venison or beef
  • 3/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1-1/4 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp. paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 can petite diced tomatoes
  • Cooked rice

Step 1

Fry bacon in large skillet until crisp; drain. Add meat, onion, chili powder, salt, paprika, & pepper to bacon in skillet. Cook over medium heat until meat is browned, stirring to crumble. Add tomatoes. Cover, reduce heat, & simmer 40 minutes. Serve over rice.
