Macaroni Salad

Cook macaroni in 2 quarts of boiling salted water until tender
- 3 cups medium macaroni, shells or elbow
- 2 quarts water, salted to taste
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, cubed
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
- 1/4 cup red pepper, chopped
- 1/4 cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sweet pickle relish
- 4 tsp. apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp. prepared mustard
- 3/4 tsp. salt
Pizza Sauce

Over medium heat, heat oil in a saucepan until hot
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 (28 oz.) can tomato puree
- 1 tsp. dried marjoram
- 1 tsp. dried basil
- salt to taste
- fresh ground pepper to taste
Fantastic Peanut Brittle

Stir together peanuts, sugar, syrup, and salt in a 1 1/2 quart casserole
- 1 cup raw peanuts*
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup white corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- *(if roasted salted peanuts are used, omit salt and add nuts after first 4 minutes of cooking)
Peppermint Layered Chocolate Bars

In a 2 quart saucepan, combine margarine, sugar, cocoa, egg, and vanilla
- Crust:
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup cocoa
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1 cup coconut
- 1/2 cup nuts, chopped
- Filling:
- 1/2 cup margarine, softened
- 2 cups powered sugar
- 2 tbsp. milk
- 1 tsp. peppermint extract
- 3 drops red food coloring
- Frosting:
- 6 oz. semisweet chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp. milk
Meatballs - baked

Mix all ingredients with hands
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 2 eggs, beaten with 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup panko or breadcrumbs
- 1 small onion, minced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. salt
- freshly ground pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup minced fresh basil
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Pink Bavarian Cream Jello

Drain strawberries, reserving syrup
- 1 pkg. (10 oz) frozen sliced
- strawberries, thawed
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 pkg. (3 oz) strawberry-flavored
- gelatin
- 1 cup chilled whipping cream
Turkey Vegetable Barley Soup (very good)

In a dutch oven, combine all the ingredients
- 2 cans chicken broth, (64 oz.)
- 4 cups cubed, cooked turkey
- 2 medium carrots, halved and thinly sliced
- 1 large potato, peeled and cubed
- 2 cups frozen cut green beans
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 1 celery rib, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup uncooked medium pearl barley
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tsp. dried thyme
- 1 tsp. rubbed sage
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Crock Pot Coca-Cola Roast

Use the size roast and the amount of vegetables you need to feed your family
- 1 beef roast, of choice
- 1 pkg. onion soup mix
- 1 (12 oz) can coke
- red potatoes, halved
- carrots, cut in chunks
- 1 can whole kernel corn, drained well
Unrolled Cabbage Rolls

Place another samll head of cabbage, chopped coarse, on top of the filling
- FILLING:
- small head cabbage, chopped coarse
- 1/2 lb. sausage
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- small onion
- 1 cup rice
- Crumble the filling over the top of the cabbage.
Cream Puffs or Eclairs

1) In medium saucepan, place water, butter, salt; bring to a boil; remove from heat
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 cup all purpose flour, sifted
- 4 large eggs
