- 1 cup Water
- 2 tablespoons Butter; (softened)
- 1 large Egg; (room temperature)
- 3 1/4 cups Flour; (Gold Medal Better for Bread)

- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 3 teaspoons Yeast; (Bread Machine)

- For the Duxelles:
- 3 pints (1 1/2 pounds) white button mushrooms
- 2 shallots, peeled and roughly chopped
