Easy Corn-On-The-Cob

The quickest and easiest way to cook corn on the cob. Nuke it in the microwave! And there's NO shucking it or pulling all those annoying sticky hair things out! It's the only way I'll cook corn from now on.

  • Fresh corn in the husk
  • Butter and Salt, for serving

Preparation

Step 1

Simply microwave corn in its husk on High for about 4-1/2 minutes.

Remove from microwave with an oven mitt. With a sharp knife, cut off the stalk end of corn. Using the oven mitt, hold the corn upright, squeeze downward, pushing it out the cut end. Voila, perfectly cooked ready-to-eat corn, with NO silks to remove! Pass the butter, please!
