- For Tropical recipe:
- Almond Pound Cake Mix
- 1/4 c. milted butter
- 1/2 c. coconut milk
- 8 oz. can crushed pineapple with juice
- 1/2 c. shredded coconut(optional)
- For chocolate chip cake
- Add 1 cup chocolate chips to batter before baking
Pea and Cheese Salad

Mix all ingredients together
- 1 c. cubed sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c. chopped sweet pickle
- 1/4 t. salt
- 1/3 c. mayonnaise
- 2 1/2 c. canned or frozen peas, thawed
- For a main dish, add 2 c. cubed cooked ham and 1 t. prepared mustard
Italian Pasta Salad

In large bowl combine soup mix, corn oil, water vinegar, basil and pepper until blended
- 1 pkg. KNORR Vegetable Soup and Recipe Mix
- 1/2 c. Mazola corn oil
- 1/3 c. warm water
- 1/4 c. red wine vinegar
- 1/2 t. dried basil
- 8 oz. twist macaroni, cooked, rinsed, drained
- 1 pkg. forzen broccoli cuts, thawed
- 2 medium tomatoes, diced
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
Burritos Grande

Brown ground beef Stir in water and seasoning mix Boil, reduce heat Spread beans on tortillas Top with beef mix
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 1/3 c. water
- 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix

- Shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes (optional)

Ground Beef and Sausage with Pasta in Tomato Cream Sauce

This dish has rustic, hearty flavor with both beef and Italian sausage
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 3/4 lb. mild and/or hot Italian sausage, casings removed
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 2 large garlic cloves, minced
- 1 26 oz. jar tomato and basil pasta sauce or spaghetti sauce with mushrooms
- 1 14 1/2 oz. can diced tomatoes
- 1 1/2 t. dried basil
- 1/4 c. chopped fresh basil
- 1/2 c. heavy cream
- 3/4 lb. tagilatelle or fettuccine noodles, cooked accoring to pkg. directions and drained
Spicy Spinach & Artichoke Dip

This is the one I usually use--be careful with the Tabasco sauce!
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 10 oz. pkgs. frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well drained
- 1 14 oz. can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
- 1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
- 1 8 oz. pkg. sour cream
- 1 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese, divided
- 1 c. grated Parmesan cheese, divided
- 1-2 T. tabasco sauce (I usually use 1/2 to 1 T.)
- Salt to taste
- Corn chips or crackers
Beef and Carrot Ragu

1.Trim excess fat from rib meat
- 1 - 1 1/2 pounds boneless beef short ribs
- Salt and ground black pepper
- 10 cloves garlic
- 8 ounces pkg. peeled fresh baby carrots, chopped
- 1 pound Roma tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 6 ounce can tomato paste with basil, garlic, and oregano
- 1/2 cup water or red wine
- Fresh basil leaves (optional)
