  • 1 1 1 CUP MILK
  • 3 3TB 3TB BUTTER, SOFTENED
  • LARGE LARGE EGG, BEATEN
  • 2 2 2 CUPS ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR
  • 1 1 1 TSP SALT
  • 1/4 1/4 1/4 TSP GROUND GINGER
  • 2 3/4 2 3/4 3/4 CUPS ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR, APPROX
  • CORNMEAL, SPRINKLE
  • 10 TO AND WARM WATER TOGETHER IN MEDIUM BOWL. SPRINKLE YEAST OVER TOP. LET STAND 10 MINUTES. STIR TO DISSOLVE YEAST.
  • HEAT MILK AND BUTTER IN SMALL SAUCEPAN UNTIL LUKEWARM. STIR INTO YEAST MIXTURE.
  • ADD IN EGG.
  • MEASURE FIRST AMOUNT OF FLOUR, SALT AND GINGER INTO LARGE BOWL. ADD YEAST MIXTURE. STIR.
  • TO USED A GLASS CUSTARD CUP FOR CUTOUT AND USED SISSORS TO CUT ROUND. NICE SIZE.
  • 2 2 MUFFINS: USE 2 CUPS WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR AND APPROX 2 CUPS ALL PURPOSE FLOUR.
