Saute onion in olive oil in large saucepan
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cups chopped onion
- 3/4 cup brown rice
- 1 1/2 cups chicken or vegetable stock
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon dry sage
- 2 cups chopped cauliflower
- 1 medium carrot, chopped
- 2 cups shredded Gruyere cheese
- 4 large eggs
Tomato Tart

Heat butter and oil in a large skillet over medium to medium-high heat
- 1 pound Penne Or Mostaciolli, Cooked Al Dente
- 1 pound Jumbo Shrimp, Peeled And Deveined (can Use 1 1/2 Pounds If You'd Like It Chunkier)
- 1 Tablespoon Butter
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 cup Diced Onion
- 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 3/4 cups White Wine
- 1 can Tomato Sauce (8 Oz)
- 1 cup Heavy Cream (can Use 1/2 Cup For A Less Creamy Dish)
- Salt To Taste
- Pepper To Taste
- 12 whole Fresh Basil Leaves

- 1/2 cup celery -- diced
- 1/2 cup green onion -- chopped
- 1/2 cup red pepper -- diced

- 1/4 cup warm water -- (about 110 degrees)
- 1 package active dry yeast

Braised Chicken with Creamy Wine Sauce

Drop pearl onions into boiling water in a Dutch oven, and cook 3 minutes
- 1/2 pound fresh pearl onions, unpeeled
- 1 tablespoon margarine
- 2 teaspoons margarine
- 1 cup slivered onion
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced carrot
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced celery
- 4 chicken breast halves (8-ounce) skinned
- 2 chicken drumsticks (1/2 pound) skinned
- 2 chicken thighs (1/2 pound) skinned
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

Prehear oven to 375. Combine butter, honey, and peanut butter and microwave for about a minute
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 cups rolled oats (not quick)
- 3/4 cup wheat germ

In a saucepan, melt 1 tablespoon butter
- VEGETABLES:
- 4 angel hair pasta nests (I use De Cecco brand)
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons panko or plain dry breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese, shredded
- olive oil
- salt and ground black pepper
- 1 large red bell pepper, seeded and cut into strips
- 4 large portobello mushroom caps, halved and sliced (I remove the gills too)
- 1 zucchini, cut into strips about the same size as the red pepper
- 1 large clove garlic, chopped
- olive oil

- SAUCE:
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 shallot, peeled and chopped
- 1 large clove garlic, peeled and chopped
- 2 cups half and half
- 1/2 cup milk
