Chocolate Chip Cookies

Mix and drop on cookie sheet
- 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 1/2 c. shortening (Crisco)
- 3 beaten eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp. soda
- 2 c. chocolate chips
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 3 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Crabmeat Canapés

Beat cheese and butter together until smooth
- 1 jar old English cheese spread
- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tbsp. mayonnaise
- 1 can crab meat, drained & flaked
- 6 English muffins
Black Bean Salsa

Mix all of the ingredients together
- 1 (16 oz.) jar salsa (any brand)
- 1 (16 oz.) can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 can black beans, drained
- 1 tsp. onion salt
- 1 can white corn, drained
- 1 onion, chopped
- Cilantro, chopped, to taste
- 1 tsp. garlic powder

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
- 1 (15-oz.) pkg. refrigerated pie crusts
- 1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter, melted
- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 c. finely chopped pecans
- 1 (10-oz.) pkg. almond brickle chips

- 6 T unsalted butter, melted

- 2 1/2 pounds cream cheese, at room temp
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 5 whole extra large eggs, at room temp
- 2 extra large egg yolks, at room temp
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 T grated lemon zest (2 lemons)
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- For the Topping-optional
- 1 cup red jelly (not jam) such as currant, raspberry or strawberry
- 3 half pints or fresh raspberries

- Cookie crumb crust:
- 1 1/2 crushed pecan shortened cookies
- 1/4 c. melted butter.
- 30 vanilla caramels
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 2 tbsp. water
- 1/2 c. pecans toasted
- 2 pkg. (3 oz. each) cream cheese softened
- 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 1 bar (4 oz.) sweet cooking choc.
- 3 tbsp. hot water.
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. whipping cream
- 2 tbsp. powdered sugar
Ham and Cheese Quiche with Potato Crust

Preheat oven to 425 degrees
- 1 (30 oz) package frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed and squeezed dry
- 1/3 cup butter melted
- 1 (8oz)package Canadian style bacon, diced
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1 cut grated mozzarella cheese
- 6 large eggs
- 3/4 cup half-and-half
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper

Combine dark and golden raisins in a large bowl, cover with boiling water, and let soak for 15 minutes
