In a large pan, heat the butter and olive oil over medium heat
- 1 pan of mexican cornbread, crumbled
- (I usually make a double serving)
- 1 pound yellow squash, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 can chicken broth
- salt and pepper to taste
Southern Chicken Bog

Place water, salt and onion in a large pot
- 6 cups water
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 (3 pound) whole chicken
- 3 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup long-grain white rice
- 1/2 pound smoked sausage of your choice, sliced
- 2 tablespoons Italian-style seasonings
- 2 cubes chicken bouillon
Chubby Hubby Cookie Bars

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
- For the Cookie Base:
- 3/4 cup butter flavored Crisco
- 2 Tbsp skim milk
- 1 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup malted milk powder (Original, not chocolate)
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- For the Filling:
- 1 can (14oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 2 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 12 oz milk chocolate morsels
- 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
- 60 chocolate covered pretzel twists (Flipz)

- 1/2 cup chopped onion

- 1/4 Cup Sugar – optional
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon – optional

- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1-3 Tablespoons milk
