Preheat oven to 375 degrees combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl
- 2 and 1/4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter or margarine
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 package semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup nuts
- 1 8oz. red or green candied cherries (chopped)

- 1 pouch (8.8 ounces) ready to serve long grain and wild rice
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 2 cups frozen chopped green peppers thawed

- 1 jar (26 ounces) chunky tomato pasta sauce
- 1 can (14-1/2 ounces) Italian diced tomatoes, un-drained
- 1 can (14 ounces) beef broth

- 1 cup chopped onion
- 6 slices bacon, cut into 1 inch pieces
- 1 16oz. can garbanzo beans, drained

- 1 8-oz. can red kidney beans, drained
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup catsup

Linguine with Zucchini and Kielbasa

A great summer dish with zucchini
- 6 ounces linguine
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon-style mustard
- 1 teaspoon dried basil, crushed
- 12 ounces kielbasa, halved lengthwise and cut into 1/4 inch-thick slices
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 small zucchini, thinly sliced
Chicken Oriental

Wash chicken and dry with paper towels
- 8 Chicken breast halves (if using boneless/ skinless- reduce grilling time by 5 to 8 minutes)
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- Juice of 2 limes or 1 lemon
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 2 teaspoons curry powder (or 1 teaspoon)
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger

- 1 12 oz. salmon, cut into long strings- one for each person you're serving
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
