A variation on a 1000-year old green bean casserole recipe!

  • 1 bag frozen broccoli, carrots, and cauliflower combo, thawed and drained
  • 1 can cream of celery soup, low fat/low sodium is fine
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/3 cup sour cream (lite is fine)
  • 1/4 t black pepper
  • 1 4 oz. jar chopped pimentos, drained
  • 1 7.8 oz. can dried French onions

  • 3 oz. heavy whipping cream
  • Zest of one lemon
  • Powdered sugar to taste (1/4 to 1/2 cup) NOTE: I only used a couple tablespoons
