Lamb Curry

Recipe is from my Uncle Ed Randolph who once owned a restaurant in Florida
- 1 lb. boneless lamb or left over lamb cut up
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 Tbsp. salad oil
- 1 med. sliced onion
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 2 Tbsp. curry powder
- 1 teasp salt
- 1/8 teasp. ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teasp. ground cloves
- 1/2 cup beef boullion
- 1/4 cup tomato juice
Turkey Broth

Directions Insert kitchen shears into the carcass and make a few cuts to get you started
- Ingredients
- 1 turkey carcass (from a roasted bird)
- 2 onions, cut into chunks
- 2 carrots, cut into chunks
- 3 stalks celery, cut into chunks
- 1 bunch fresh parsley
- 4 cloves garlic, smashed (unpeeled)
- 1 teaspoon black peppercorns
- 2 bay leaves
Sour Cream Cookies

Drop on lightlyy greased cookie sheet
- 1/2 teasp. vanilla
- 1/4 cup crisco
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 teasp. salt
- 1/2 teasp. baking soda
- 1 cup sour cream
Chef John's Twice Baked Potatoes

Directions 1.Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C)
- 4 large russet potatoes
- 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon minced green onion
- salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper, or to taste
- 1/2 cup shredded white Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted

Roasted Fingerling Potatoes

- 1 1/2 pounds fingerlings, halved lengthwise
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped rosemary leaves
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
Schrafft's Butterscotch Pecan Cookies

preheat the oven to 375. line two cookie sheets with parchment paper or a silpat baking mat
- (makes about 30 cookies)
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 14 tablespoons (1 3/4 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1 1/4 cups dark brown sugar (i prefer to use organic, which is even darker than conventional varieties)
- 1 egg, at room temperature
- 2 tablespoons nonfat dry milk
- 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup finely chopped pecans
Country Pork Chop with Potatoes Black Pepper White Gravy

Directions For the gravy: Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat

- Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 1/2 cups whole milk
- Dash freshly grated nutmeg

- 4 large Yukon gold potatoes, well scrubbed and cut into 1/4-inch slices

Meatloaf

Cut bread into cubes and soak in milk for 2 mins
- 1 lb lb. ground round
- 1/2 lb. ground pork
- 1/4 lb. ground veal
- 1 egg
- 2 slices white bread
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1 teasp. mustard
- 1 teasp. worsteshire sauce
- 1 teasp. salt
- 2 cloves garlic chopped fine
- 1 small can tomato sauce (6oz.)
Banana Sour Cream Cake

- 1 bx yellow cake mix
- 1 c mashed ripe bananas (2 or 3)
- 1 c sour cream
- 3 lg eggs

- 16 oz powdered sugar

Quick Chicken Noodle Soup

- 1 cup yolk-free egg noodles
