Baked Chicken Breasts in Gravy

Instructions for gravy: Melt butter and add flour; stir to brown a little
- Gravy:
- 3 lb. boneless chicken breasts
- 1 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp Lawry's seasoning
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup flour
- 5 1/2 cups water
- 1 Tbsp chicken base
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp kitchen bouquet
Quick Kimchi

Place Cabbage in a large bowl
- 4 cups Napa Cabbage (thinly sliced)
- 1/4 cup Rice Wine
- 1/4 cup Sambal
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 1/4 cup Scallions (thinly sliced)
- 2 tablespoons Sesame Seeds
- Daikon Radish Kimchi
- 4 cups Daikon Radish (julienne)
- same ingredients as Napa Cabbage Kimchi
- European Radish Kimchi
- 4 cups European Radishes (halved lengthwise)
- same ingredients as Napa Cabbage Kimchi
Sandy's Heinz Cocktail Meatballs

- 1 24 oz bag Frozen meatballs
- 1 14 oz can jellied cranberry sauce
- 1 12 oz bottle Heinz Chili Sauce, not Siracha
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
Carla Hall's Chocolate-Walnut Cookies

Preheat oven to 350 F. Combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon
- 2 1/4 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1/4 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt

- 1 1/2 lbs Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, cut into 8 wedges, and sliced 1/8 inch thick crosswise

- 1 cup all-purpose flour (5 ounces)
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar (7 ounces)
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar

- 2 large egg yolks

Steamed Cockles in Scallion Broth

In a large pot, heat the oil
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 large shallot, minced
- 6 medium scallions, green parts only, thinly sliced crosswise
- 1/2 jalapeño, seeded and minced
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- Freshly cracked black pepper
- 2 1/2 pounds cockles, scrubbed and rinsed
- 4 slices toasted baguette
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Makes 5 dz. 2" cookies Mix butter and sugar till light and fluffy
- 1 1/2 c. sifted confectioners sugar
- 1 c. butter
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla or lemon extract
- 1/2 tsp. almond extract optional
- 2 1/2 c. AP flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. cream of tartar
Creamed Mushrooms

- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (divided)
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk (hot)
- 1 tablespoon sherry
- 1 pinch ground nutmeg
- 1 pound mushrooms
- salt & freshly ground white pepper (to taste)
