- 1 cup softened butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 Tbsp real maple syrup (not pancake syrup)
- 1 large egg yolk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp maple extract
- 2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

Partially freeze beef. Thinly slice across the grain into bite-size strips and brown in oil
- 2 to 3 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided
- 1 pound beef top sirloin steak
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 T. Worstshire sauce
- 2 c. beef broth
- 1 med onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
- 2 green peppers, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tomatoes, cut into wedges
