Paula Deen's Rich Chocolate Meringue Pie

Preheat oven to 325. In a large heavy saucepan, combine flour, cocoa, and sugar
- 1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1-1/4 c. sugar
- 2-1/2 c. whole milk
- 4 egg yolks, lightly beaten
- 2 T. butter
- 1 t. vanilla extract
- 1 (9-in)prepared pie crusts, baked
- Paula Deen's Mile-High Meringue (see recipe)
- Unsweetened cocoa powder (if desired)

- Dough
- 3 1/2 cups King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
- 2 teaspoons instant yeast
- 2 tablespoons potato flour or 1/4 cup instant potato flakes
- 2 tablespoons Baker's Special Dry Milk or nonfat dry milk
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 4 tablespoons soft or room-temperature butter
- 2/3 cup lukewarm water
- 1/2 cup lukewarm milk
- Filling
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- Topping
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- Glaze
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3 1/2 to 4 tablespoons cream or 2 to 3 tablespoons milk
Beef Stroganoff

Season the steak strips with House Seasoning, then dust with flour
- 1 1/2 pounds cubed round steak, cut into thin strips
- House Seasoning, recipe follows
- All-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 (10 3/4-ounce) can beef broth
- 1 (10 3/4-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- Salt and black pepper
- 1 cup sour cream
- Cooked egg noodles

Step 1: Preheat oven for 400 F
- For Garlic Sauce:
- 3 large Potatoes, sliced
- 1 tsp Olive oil, to drizzle
- 1/2 cup Mixed Cheese
- 2 large Garlic cloves, finely mince
- 1/4 cup Olive Oil
- 1-2 tbsp Cornstarch
- 2 tsp dried Parsley, finely chopped
- Lemon juice for taste
- Salt
- Water, if needed
Coconut Cream Pie Bars

Preheat oven to 350. For the crust: Pour flour in a medium bowl
- for the crust:
- 1 1/2 1 1/2 1/2 c flour
- 2/3 2/3 2/3 c butter
- 5-7 5-7 5-7 tbsp cold water
- vanilla-coconut pudding
- 2 2/3 2 2/3 2/3 cups cold whole milk
- 1 1 1 egg
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 c sugar
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 c cornstarch
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 1 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/3 1 1/3 1/3 c sweetened, flaked coconut
- topping:
- 1 1 1 pint whipping cream
- 1 1 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 3 3 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 1 1 c sweetened, flaked coconut
- Instructions
- to 350. to 350.
- 1 2-3 Spread 1 cup flaked coconut onto a cookie sheet and bake for 2-3 minutes until toasted and golden. Set aside. In a stand mixer beat whipping cream, sugar, and vanilla until soft peaks form.
- 2-3 fresh whipped cream over the pudding layer and sprinkle with toasted coconut. Refrigerate for another 2-3 hours. Cut into bars and serve.
