The Real Sombrero Dip

This is not your everyday version of taco based dip
- 2 lbs. ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup hot ketchup (I just use regular Ketchup and hot sauce)
- 3 tsp. chili powder or a pkg of taco seasoning mix (McCormick's)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 can of re-fried beans
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped green olives
- 1/2 cup chopped black olives
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onions
- 1 large bag of lightly or unsalted Tortilla Chips (don't use flavored chips)
ASIAN CUCUMBER "NOODLES"

- 2 hothouse cucumbers
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 4 teaspoons gluten free soy sauce (or regular if you aren't gluten free)
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1/8 teaspoon sriracha
- 1/8 teaspoon ginger powder
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon honey (optional - omit if vegan)

Party Sandwich Loaf

- Shrimp Salad Filling
- 1 hard-cooked egg, finely chopped
- 1 can (4-1/2 oz.) broken shrimp, rinsed and drained
- 2 tbsp. finely chopped celery
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- Dash pepper
- 3 tbsp. mayonnaise
- Mix all ingredients.
- Cheese-Pecan Filling
- 1 pkg. (3 oz.) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup finely chopped toasted pecans
- 1 can (8-3/4 oz.) crushed pineapple, well drained
- Mix all ingredients.
- Chicken-Bacon Filling
- 8 slices bacon, crisply fried and crumbled
- 1 cup finely chopped cooked chicken
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp. finely chopped pimiento
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- Mix all ingredients.
- Cream Cheese Frosting
- 2 pkg. (8 oz. each) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup light cream
- Green food coloring
- Mix cheese and cream thoroughly. Add a few drops food coloring to tint frosting a delicate green.

- 1/2 cup good quality grated Parmesan (can leave out)
- 1 cup panko or bread crumbs
- 1 medium onion, minced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- freshly ground pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup minced fresh basil

- Baking Soda works by creating an alkaline environment on the leaf,
- TO APPLY:
- 1: 3 1 3 tablespoons baking soda with 1 gallon of water.
- 2: 1 to to 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, or cooking oil of your choice. This helps the spray to stick to the leaves.
- 3: 2 to in 2 drops of dish soap to help emulsify (mix) everything.
- 4: 4: Spray on tops and bottoms of leaves till dripping
- 3 3 to 3 1/2 and apply that amount one time each week for 3 weeks. Then switch to 3 1/2 Tablespoons if fungus is still growing, or spreading.

- 1 pound jumbo (or large) shrimp, peeled and de-veined
- 1/2 cup* chimichurri sauce

- 1 cup fresh flat-leaf parsley, tightly packed (about 1 bunch of parsley)
- 1 cup fresh cilantro, tightly packed (about 1 bunch of cilantro)
- 1/2 cup diced red onion
- 3 Tablespoons fresh oregano, tightly packed (optional)
- 3 cloves of garlic, peeled
- 2 Tablespoons fresh lemon or lime juice
- 2 Tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp freshly-ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes, or more, to taste
- 1/2 cup good-quality olive oil

The perfect Southern summer dish, this combination of ingredients makes a creamy, cheesy mixture you cannot resist
- 4 cups frozen peas, thawed
- 3 large or jumbo eggs, hard boiled, quartered (I would cook three more eggs to chop and put in the salad)
- 6 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, cubed (I would use more)
- 1/2 cup diced red onion (you could use white part of scallion)
- 8 slices thick-sliced bacon, cooked and broken into small pieces
- 3 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
- 2/3 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons Hellmann’s mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons white or apple cider vinegar (for gluten free do not use malt vinegar)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt, or more, to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper, or more, to taste
