- Ingredients:
- Serving size:1- 2 Kebabs - Prep time: 30 min
- Cook time: 1 hour Total time: 1 hour Yield: (3-4 servings)
- 1 1/2 -2 lbs. Chicken Breast, cut into 1 inch chunks
- 2 medium size green bell peppers, cut into 1 inch chunks
- 1 medium Spanish or white onion, cut into 1 inch chunks
- 1 dozen wood skewers, soaked in water
- Sauce:
- 1/2 cup tomato catsup or tomato sauce
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice ( aprox. 1 lemon)
- 1/4 cup brandy
- 2 tblsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tblsp Canola oil
- 1 tblsp paprika Sweet Hungarian or Spicy (your option)
- 1 teaspoons curry powder
- 1 teasp fresh grated ginger
- 1 teasp cinnamon
- 1 / 2 teasp nutmeg

Here is a different version of Zwiebelkichen
- For the crust
- 1 lb 8oz / 600g flour
- 5 tbsp / 75g butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 1 packet of active dry yeast. (See notes for my sourdough version)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 cup / 120ml water
- 1/2 cup / 120ml milk
- 2 tbsp butter for the pans
- For the topping
- 3 lbs/ 1.5kg onions, sliced or coarsely chopped
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp caraway seeds
- 1/2 - 1 tsp freshly ground pepper
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 1 cup / 250ml heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup / 125ml sour cream
- 5 eggs
- 4 oz / 125g bacon, diced
- 4 stalks of green onions, chopped
- 1/2 cup / 125ml milk
- 1/2 tsp white pepper, freshly ground
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg, freshly grated

Calley's Sweet Potato Pie

This cream sauce is seriously out of this world
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 8 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- FOR THE LEMON CREAM SAUCE
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes, or more, to taste
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

I am not a big fan of devil's food cake, so I would use a moist chocolate cake mix instead
- 1 box Betty Crocker® SuperMoist® devil's food cake mix
- 1 1/3 cups buttermilk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 1 bag (12 oz) semisweet chocolate chips (2 cups)
- 1 cup caramel ice cream topping
- 1/2 cup Betty Crocker® Rich & Creamy vanilla frosting
Breaded Portobello Mushrooms with Pesto Ham and Cheese

I know the pic does not match, this is a new recipe so I am working on getting a good photo
- 1/2 cup white flour
- Sea salt and freshly cracked pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp Garlic powder, or to taste
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 cups plain Panko crumbs
- 2 tbsp Parmesan Cheese
- 4 large portobello mushrooms (stem removed and insides cleaned out with a spoon)
- 1 small onion, sliced thin and slices cut in half (do not chop)
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup reduced balsomic vinegar
- 1/2 cup mayo (thinned slightly with milk or cream)
- 1/2 cup creamy french dressing (add a tsp of mayo to the dressing and stir)
Roasted Citrus And Herb Chicken

- 3 to 4 lbs. bone-in chicken thighs or breast, skin on.
- 2 oranges, sliced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 cup fresh orange juice
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tbsp. dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- pepper
- 2 to 3 fresh thyme sprigs or 1/2 tsp
- 2 to 3 fresh rosemary sprigs or 1/2 tsp
- Salt and pepper to taste
Marinated London Broil/Flank Steak

My family loves this. My kids could drink the sauce
- 2 Rib eye steaks, thick cut, or a nice thick London Broil (I cut the London Broil in half)
- 2 tsp Garlic powder
- 2 tsp Ginger
- 1 cup Soy sauce, low sodium
- 1/2 cup Brown sugar or a 2 tbs corn syrup
- 1/3 cup Apple cider vinegar
- 6 oz Pineapple juice

- 1 1/2 pounds trimmed rib-eye steak, cut into cubes approximately 1 1/2 inches
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt

- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons cognac or brandy
