1. Place basil, parmesan cheese, garlic and salt in food processor
- 4 C loosely packed basil leaves
- 1/2 C grated Parmesan Cheese
- 2 garlic cloves, halved
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 C pine nuts toasted
- 1/2 C olive oil
Cilantro Vinaigrette

- 1/3 C white wine vinegar
- 1/3 C cilantro leaves
- 3 TBS. sugar
- 1 jalapeno pepper seeded and chopped
- 1 garlic clove peeled and quartered
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 2/3 C olive oil
Old Mill Corn Bread, Corn Muffins, or Corn Sticks

- 1 1/2 C (Old Mill) self-rising corn meal
- 1/2 C (Old Mill) self-rising flour
- 2 C buttermilk
- 1 egg (optional)

- 1 C white sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
- 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 3 C all purpose-flour
- 1 C buttermilk
- 3 eggs
- 1 TBS. honey
- 1/2 C butter, melted
Donut Bread Pudding

- 1 dozen day old glazed donuts cut up
- 1 Can sweetened condensed milk
- 6 eggs
- 2-3 C milk, depending on how much it takes to cover the donuts.
- dash of salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- cinnamon to taste

Turkey Sliders with Chili Cheese Mayo

- Toppings:
- 4 bacon strips
- 1 med onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 TBS.Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 lb. ground turkey
- 2 TBS. olive oil
- 12 heat and serve rolls
- Mayo
- 1 C mayonnaise
- 1 jar (5 oz.) Sharp American Cheese spread
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 12 small lettuce leaves
- 2 plum tomatoes, thinly sliced
Chipotle Sweet Potatoes

- 1 C balsamic vinaigrette, divided

- 1/4 tsp. pepper

- 3 TBS. honey
- 2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, minced
Old Mill Restaurant's Signature Corn Chowder

From experience, this is a worth-while recipe
- 1 . TBS. margarine
- 3 C diced onions
- 3/4 C crumbs (from unsalted oyster crackers)
- 1/4 C flour
- 2 C water
- 1 C clam juice
- 2 C chicken, beef or ham broth
- 3 C diced potatoes
- 2 C half and half
- 2 C frozen corn kernels, defrosted
- 1 red and 1 green bell pepper, chopped and sauteed briefly in butter, add salt and freshly ground white pepper to taste.
