Praline Turtle Pie

- 36 caramels (about 14 ounces)
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream

- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted

- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 1/4 cups sifted confectioners' sugar

Best Carrot Cake

This is a wonderful, moist carrot cake
- Buttermilk Glaze:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 3 large eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups grated carrot
- 1 (8-ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 (3 1/2-ounce) can flaked coconut
- 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (I like to use toasted pecans)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Cream Cheese Frosting:
- 3/4 c. butter, softened
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 (3-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 3 cups sifted powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Minute Steaks with Butter Barbeque Sauce

Place each steak between two sheets of heavy plastic (or inside a resealable freezer bag) on a solid, level surface
- 2 (5 ounce) boneless sirloin steaks
- salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 1/2 tablespoons barbeque sauce
- 1 dash hot pepper sauce
- freshly ground black pepper

Chile Garlic BBQ Salmon

- 3 pounds whole salmon, cleaned
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon chile sauce
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh ginger root
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1 lime, zested
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 3 green onions, chopped
Easy and Tasty Strawberry Shortcake

1. Mix strawberries with 3 tablespoons sugar and refrigerate while juices develop, at least 30 minutes
- strawberries:
- 1 1/2 lbs strawberries, stemmed and quartered
- 3 tablespoons sugar for the cake
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- for the whipped cream:
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream, chilled
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated lemon zest.
Raspberry Pie

The custard-like filling is wonderful in this pie
- PIE CRUST
- 1 blind-baked pie shell
- 1/2 cup raspberry preserves
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- CREAM PIE FILLING
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 4 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2-1/2 cup milk
- 3 egg yolks, lightly beaten in a separate bowl
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- TOPPING
- 1 pint fresh raspberries, washed, dried
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 3 tablespoons shortening (solid, not oil)
Lemon Ice Box Pie

This pie is so easy to put together and is light and tangy
- 1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust
- 1 8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 to 3 lemons, juiced
- 2 teaspoons lemon zest
- 1 cup Cool Whip
Toll House White Chip Chocolate Cookies

- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup NESTLE® TOLL HOUSE® Baking Cocoa (used Hershey's)
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 (12 ounce) package NESTLE® TOLL HOUSE® Premier White Morsels
Grand Champagne Cocktail

- 4 shots orange-flavored liqueur (recommended: Grand Marnier)
- 4 teaspoons honey
- 4 fresh strawberries, tops trimmed
- 1 bottle Champagne, well chilled
- Special equipment: 4 chilled Champagne flutes
