Almond Spice Muffins

1. Combine both flours, 1/2 C sugar, almonds, baking powder, salt, nutmeg and allspice
- Topping:
- 3/4 C flour
- 3/4 whole wheat flour
- 1/2 C sugar
- 1/2 c chopped slivered almonds
- 2 t baking powder
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/4 t nutmeg
- 1/4 t allspice
- 1/4 C sweet butter, melted
- 1/2 C milk
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/2 t almond extract
- 1 11oz. can mandarin oranges
- 3 T sweet butter, melted
- 1/3 C sugar
- 1/2 t cinnamon
Brussels Sprouts with Pancetta

Heat the olive oil in a large (12-inch) saute pan and add the pancetta
- 2 tablespoons good olive oil
- 6 ounces Italian pancetta or bacon, 1/4-inch dice
- 1 1/2 pounds Brussels sprouts (2 containers), trimmed and cut in 1/2
- 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 3/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 3/4 cup golden raisins
- 1 3/4 cups Homemade Chicken Stock, recipe follows, or canned broth
Frozen Banana Ice Cream Sandwich

- 1 pound chocolate chip cookie dough (recommended: Nestle Toll House)
- 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon peanut or vegetable oil
- 2 (1 1/2 ounces) chocolate-toffee candy bars, chopped into 1/4-inch pieces (recommended: Skor)
- 2 medium bananas, peeled and sliced into 1/4-inch rounds
- 1 pint vanilla or banana ice cream, softened

One Pot Pasta

- 2 Stewed tomatoes, 14 oz. each
- 10 oz. Chicken broth
- 2 T Olive oil
- 1 1/4 t Italian seasoning

Spiced Almond Biscotti

- 2 eggs
- 1/2 C oil
- 2 C sugar
- 2 t vanilla
- 1/4 C water
- 3 C flour
- 3 t baking powder
- 1 t cloves
- 2 t cinnamon
- 1 C sliced almonds
Ham and Swiss Rolls

1. Separate crescent rolls into 8 triangles
- 1 Prepackaged crescent rolls, 1 tube
- 1 C Ham, cooked and diced
- 3/4 ¾ C Swiss cheese, finely shredded
- 1 1/2 1 ½ t Prepared mustard
- 1 t Onion, finely chopped
General Tso's Chicken

Mix chicken pieces with marinade ingredients, set aside
- 1 lb. Boneless & skinless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tsp. Baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. Black pepper

- 1 tsp. Corn starch
- For the Batter
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup Corn starch
- For Frying & Stir-fry
- Frying oil
- 2 tsp. Chili oil with chili flakes
- 5 to 6 dried chili
- 4 Cloves garlic, roughly chopped
