Raisin Sauce

1. Mix all ingredients in small saucepan, and cook over medium low heat until thickened
- 2 T Corn Starch
- 1 T Yellow Prepared mustard
- 1/2 C Brown Sugar
- 1/4 C Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 C Water
- 10 oz. Currant Jelly
- 1/2 C Raisins (white raisins preferably)
Ginger Cookie

- 4 1/2 C flour
- 4 t ground ginger
- 2 t baking soda
- 1 1/2 t cinnamon
- 1 t cloves
- 1/4 t salt
- 1 1/2 C shortening
- 2 C sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 C molasses
- 3/4 C coarse sugar or granulated sugar
Mississippi Mud Cake

1. Cream sugar, cocoa and margarine
- Cake:
- 2 C sugar
- 1/3 C cocoa
- 3 sticks margarine
- 4 eggs
- 1 t vanilla
- 1 1/2 C flour
- 1 1/3 C coconut
- 1/2 C pecans, chopped
- 1 7 oz jar marshmallow creme
- Frosting:
- 1 box confectioners' sugar
- 1 t vanilla
- 1/3 C cocoa
- 1 stick margarine, softened
- 1/2 C evaporated milk
Potato Casserole Bolangere

1. Adjust oven rack to lower-middle position and heat oven to 425 degrees

- 3 slices thick-cut bacon, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
- 1 large onion, halved and sliced thin
- 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons chopped fresh thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 1/4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 1/4 cups beef broth
- 3 pounds Yukon gold potatoes, peeled
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into 4 pieces
Lemon Fusilli with Arugula

- 1 tablespoon minced garlic (2 cloves)
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 3 lemons
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1 bunch broccoli
- 1 pound dried fusilli pasta
- 1/2 pound baby arugula (or 2 bunches of common arugula, leaves cut in thirds)
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan

- 3 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves, nearly thawed
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons orange marmalade
- 1 tablespoon sweet rice cooking wine (aji mirin), or white wine
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted

Apricot Glazed cake

1. Mix cake mix, jello, oil and 3/4 C nectar
- GLAZE TOPPING:
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 sm. lemon jello
- 3/4 C cooking oil
- 3/4 C apricot nectar
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 t vanilla
- 1 1/2 t lemon extract
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 1/4 C apricot nectar
- 1 C powdered sugar
Corn Chowder

1. In 6 T bacon drippings, sauté onion rings until tender
- 10 pcs. Bacon, fried and crumbled, reserve drippings
- 1 Med. Onion in rings
- 3 C Potato, diced
- 1 C Water
- 2 17 oz. cans creamed corn
- 4 C Milk
- 2 t Salt
- Dash of Pepper
Banana Cake
