Applicious Pudding

1. Place apples in a buttered 9 x 13 baking dish
- 6 - 8 apples, sliced
- 1/2 c Sugar
- 1/2 t Cinnamon
- 2 T Butter
- 1 C Sugar
- 1 t Vanilla
- 2 Eggs
- 1 C Flour
- 1 t Baking Powder
- dash Salt
Cheesy breadsticks

Preheat oven to 425. Unroll pizza dough onto a greased cookie sheet and brush with butter
- 1 (10 ounce) can Pillsbury pizza crust dough
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1/2 cup provolone cheese, shredded
- 1 tablespoon parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon dried basil
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
Buttermilk Glaze

- 1/2 C butter
- 1 t light corn syrup

Orange Poppy Seed Cake

1. Soak poppy seeds in milk in bowl for 2 hours
- Glaze:
- Cake
- 2 T poppy seeds
- 1/4 C milk
- 3 C flour
- 32 1/2 t baking powder
- 1/4 t salt
- 1 1/4 C unsalted butter
- 1 3/4 C sugar
- 1 T finely grated orange zest
- 2 t vanilla
- 3/4 C orange juice
- 1 C confectioners sugar
- 1 t orange zest
- 3 - 4 T orange juice
Pumpkin Cookies

- 4 C flour
- 2 C oats
- 2 t baking soda
- 2 t cinnamon
- 1 t salt
- 1 1/2 C butter
- 2 C brown sugar
- 1 C sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 t vanilla
- 1 16oz. can of pumpkin
- 1/2 C chocolate chips
- 1/2 C pecans
- 1/2 C raisins
Summer Veggie Salad

Heat the oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat until hot
- 1 medium garlic clove, minced
- 3 teaspoons extra-virgin olive, or avocado oil
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1.5 pounds zucchini (about 6-8 small fresh squash), trimmed and cut into 1/2″ rounds
- 1 red onion, sliced
- 3-4 medium ripe garden tomatoes, quartered
- 2 cups marinated (drained), jarred artichoke hearts (Costco carries an awesome product)
- 2-4 Tbsp capers (I LOVE capers, & can’t get enough)
- Juice of 1 fresh lemon
- Sea salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 2 Tbsps fresh parsley, minced
- 2 Tbsps grated all-natural parmesan(optional)
Breakfast French Puffs

1. Grease 12 muffin cups. 2
- TOPPING:
- 1 1/2 C Flour
- 1 1/2 t baking powder
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/4 t nutmeg
- 1/2 C sugar
- 1/3 C shortening
- 1 egg
- 1/2 C milk
- 1/2 C sugar
- 1 t cinnamon
- 6 T melted butter
Cherry Almond Scones

Cherry Almond Scone
- FOR THE GLAZE:
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup plus 2 tbsp. granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 stick cold, unsalted butter, cubed
- 1 1/4 cups buttermilk, plus more for brushing
- 1 cup halved cherries, I used this OXO cherry pitter for quick pitting of my cherries
- 2 tbsp sparkling sugar
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 3 tbsp milk or buttermilk
- 1/2 tsp almond extract
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds, for toppin
Spicy Orange Beef

1. Combine beef, orange juice, rice vinegar, soy sauce, hot chili paste, brown sugar, and garlic in a large bowl
- Ingredients
- 1 pound beef tenderloin, cut into 1/2 inch strips
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup seasoned rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon hot chile paste (such as sambal oelek)
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar, or to taste
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- cooking spray
- 2 tablespoons grated orange zest
- 1 bunch green onions, sliced - white parts and tops separated
- salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
