Buttermilk Baked "Fried" Chicken
- 1 Fryer, cut up
- 2 C Buttermilk
- 1 C Seasoned flour
- 1 t Crushed rosemary
Preparation time 30mins
Cooking time 90mins
1. Combine flour and rosemary. Dip chicken pieces in buttermilk, then in flour. (Repeat for crispier crust.) Place on baking rack; allow coating to set about 20 minutes.
2. Bake on greased baking sheet 375 degrees, 1 hour. Baste with oil for the last few minutes if dry spots appear.
