CHOCOLATE BUNDT CAKE

Beat all ingredients together for 2 mintues
- 1 package dark fudge cake mix
- 1 large package instant chocolate pudding
- 1/2 C oil
- 4 eggs
- 1 C sour cream
- 1/2 C warm water
- 1 t instant coffee
- 1 C chocolate chips
DR. PEPPER-MARINATED STEAK TOSTADAS

1. Pour Dr. Pepper over steak
- MEAT AND MARINADE
- 1 pound skirt or flank steak
- 1 (16 oz) bottle Dr. Pepper
- SLAW
- 1/2 C thinly sliced red cabbage
- 1/4 C thinly shredded green cabbage
- 1/2 C red bell pepper, cut into thin strips
- 1/2 C chopped cilantro
- 2 T mayonnaise
- 4 t malt vinegar
- 1 t granulated sugar
- TOSTADAS
- 1 T vegetable oil
- 8 (6-inch) corn tortillas
- 1 1/2 t kosher salt, divided
- 4 t brown sugar
- 1 t coarsely ground black pepper
- 1 1/2 C shredded caciotta or Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 C goat cheese crumbles
CRANBERRY COFFEE CAKE

Cream margarine, add sugar gradually
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 C sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 C flour
- 1 t baking powder
- 1 t baking soda
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/2 pint sour cream
- 1 t vanilla
- 7 oz can of whole cranberry sauce
- 1 C chopped walnuts (opt)
- 3/4 C powdered sugar
- 1/4 t vanilla
FRIED CHICKEN

chicken needs time for brining and marinating so start at least 5 hours before you plan to start cooking the chicke
- 1 C salt
- 1 quart water
- 1 chicken, 2 1/2 to 3 pounds, cut into 8 pieces
- 2 C buttermilk
- 1 t hot red-pepper sauce
- 1 C flour
- 1 t each salt, ground red pepper and garlic powder
- 4 C vegetable oil
- 4 T bacon drippings
